Quality Assurance
Swashthik Preforms uses specifically recommended raw materials which conform to industrial norms. While processing the preforms, the company operates stringent quality controls at each phase of the production. Frequent chemical analysis assures the suitability of usage in end products. All these result in extremely reliable preforms. We use the best quality food grade resin to achieve the desired Quality and to ensure safety to the users. Quality has been our objective since inception and this is achieved with the support of the state of the art testing machines. The preforms manufactured are inspected and the results are maintained with reference to the batch no of the raw materials used. Cautious and careful trouble shooting of the preforms are done to avoid flaws. Shift personnel are given extensive training for technical updates in testing procedures so that quality is maintained consistently.
Setup The unit is located at Pondicherry,160 km from Chennai and 20 km from Pondicherry city in an industrial estate developed by the Pondicherry Industries department.
The state of the art unit was initially commissioned with two numbers of 200 tonne injection machines of L&T Demag with LTM Moton and GWK Prasad for driers and chillers. Today it has an installed capacity of six L&T Demag injection machines of 200 tonnes.
The complete operations are managed and handled by an experienced team of engineers among others, who are loaded with vast knowledge in plastics processing.
Packaging
Swashthik Preforms uses polypropylene polyethylene bags and corrugated outer cartons - the packaging technique which has been specially designed for preform dispatches.
